Oh what fun, it is to ride, on a one horse open sleigh, HEY!

Shopping. Wrapping. Baking. Desperation-can't-wait-another-day hair appointment. 3 weekend parties. Snow? Bring it ON!

I hear you Eleni. Don't get me started bout my hair - I can't fit an appointment in before Christmas and it looks hideous!!

I'm SO not happy....Thinking about buying a one-way ticket to the Bahamas and skipping Christmas this year!!!!! Sun, sand, surf...ahhhhh!

I have so much left to do.... if that snow could just wait till.... I don't know... NEXT FRIDAY!

BHE - but if it were Bahama-like all year round it wouldn't be special!
Momx2 - I know... we have stuff planned all weekend that is in jeopardy. We can get places with our 4x4s but will events be canceled is the real question. I stocked up on wine and milk (Necessities!) last night so we're ready here.

You listed wine as a necessity, and that is why I feel at home on these pages :)
I think most of the mess is supposed to miss Ohio, haven't decided if I like that or if I had wanted a bit of snow.

I keep going to TWC and AccuWeather to see what the weather models are saying about what's in store for all of you. Sounds like you are in for it. Although. . . . one December about 6 years ago they were predicting with 100% certainty what they called "the storm of the century" and restaurants closed ahead of time and sports events were cancelled in advance of the "storm" and we had . . . 3 blinkin' flakes of snow! The restaurateurs were FURIOUS!! Sounds like you have the necessities covered and you can hunker down and cook and clean and play board games with the boys (I can hear you snicker) and watch the fire in the fireplace. RJ wants to catch a plane and fly north. NOT!!

Well, all my parties have been cancelled ... Good thing I have plenty of wine and beer, DiGiorno pizzas (note the plural), Scrabble, a fireplace and Elf and It's a Wonderful Life on DVD.

I can't even imagine living in the snow. Seriously, I have no idea what that would be like. I've only been in the snow a couple of times in my life!
Am I missing out?

Suz - for me it falls under the "be careful what you wish for" category - the idea of it is romantic and cozy, but the reality of it is we're trying to unstick our vehicle from the middle of the driveway and forget about last-minute Christmas shopping today. Still, it's really beautiful. Looks like mounds of powdered sugar all over everything. Watch for photos later...

We get our vehicles stuck sometimes, too, but in MUD. Less pretty. Catching flakes on your tongue not advised.
